Weldun Roofing was founded by Patricia Airdrie, who has spent over 17 years in the roofing industry. Patricia isn’t a business owner who manages from behind a desk — she is on-site for every project, from the initial inspection through to the final walkthrough. When you hire Weldun Roofing, you work directly with the owner.
Patricia started in the roofing trade because she saw too many homeowners getting poor workmanship, unclear pricing, and contractors who didn’t show up when they said they would. She built Weldun Roofing to be the opposite of that experience: honest quotes, quality materials, clean job sites, and work that’s done right the first time.
Her hands-on approach has earned Weldun Roofing the Canadian Choice Award in 2024 and the Guelph Mercury Readers’ Choice Award three years running (2015, 2016, 2017) — recognition that comes directly from the homeowners we’ve served.
What Sets Us Apart
- Owner on every job site — Patricia personally oversees every project. You’re never handed off to a subcontractor you’ve never met.
- 17+ years of experience — We’ve seen every type of roof problem Ontario weather can create, and we know how to fix them properly.
- Premium materials only — We’re certified installers for IKO, Owens Corning, GAF, and Euroshield. We don’t cut corners on materials because your roof has to survive Ontario winters.
- Fully licensed and insured — We carry $2 million in commercial liability insurance. All crew members are WSIB certified with fall arrest training.
- Clean job sites — We use magnetic sweepers to catch every nail and leave your property cleaner than we found it. If you have kids or pets, you’ll never find debris in your yard.
- 10-year workmanship warranty — In addition to manufacturer material warranties (25-50 years depending on the product), we back our labour with a 10-year workmanship guarantee.
